Ramko Tech Consulting Ltd — SIC 62020 Registered in England and Wales · No. 17022162 support@ramkotech.pro
Information technology consultancy · England and Wales

One filed activity.
Independent advice.

Ramko Tech Consulting Ltd advises organisations on the technology they already run and the technology they are about to commit to. The register records a single activity against our name — SIC 62020, information technology consultancy — and that is deliberately all we do. We do not resell software, we do not take commission from vendors, and there is no implementation contract waiting at the end of the report.

01 — Position

A practice, not a supplier

Most technology advice in the market arrives attached to something being sold. Ours is not. The distinction is structural rather than rhetorical: it is the only activity the company is registered to carry out.

We are paid for the hours spent understanding your situation and for the judgement written down at the end of them. Nothing else.

A consultancy that also implements has a quiet incentive to find work for itself. A consultancy that also resells has a quieter one still. Ramko does neither, so the recommendation can be “change nothing, this estate is fine” without costing us anything.

Ramko Tech Consulting Ltd was incorporated on 9 February 2026 as a private company limited by shares, registered in England and Wales under company number 17022162, with its office at Croxley Green, Rickmansworth. The practice is directed by Rajamurthy Ramachandran, who is named on the incorporation filing and is the person accountable for every engagement.

We work with organisations that have grown past the point where technology decisions can be made informally, but have not reached the point of employing a full-time technology executive: professional firms, owner-managed businesses, charities and small public-facing organisations across the United Kingdom, remotely and on site across London and the Home Counties.

  • Advisory engagements billed as advisory time — never as a percentage of what you spend
  • No reseller agreements, referral fees or vendor commission of any kind
  • Written deliverables you keep, in plain English, addressed to a decision
  • Findings you can hand to any supplier, including your existing one
02 — Practice

What we are asked for

Six recurring shapes of work, all of them advisory, all of them ending in a document rather than an invoice for something to install. Each is described in full on the services page.

01

Technology review & roadmap

A structured read of what you run today — systems, suppliers, contracts, hosting, data, support arrangements — followed by a prioritised plan for the next twelve to twenty-four months. The plan sequences work by dependency and risk, so that the first thing you do is the thing that unblocks the rest.

02

Systems & integration architecture

Planning and design advice for systems that must talk to one another: where the boundaries sit, which system owns which record, how data moves, and what breaks when one part of the chain is unavailable. Delivered as a design your developers or your supplier can build from.

03

Build, buy or keep

An options appraisal for a decision already on the table. We set out the realistic choices — commission something bespoke, license a product, extend what you have, or do nothing yet — with the cost, risk and lock-in of each stated honestly, and a recommendation we are willing to defend in a board meeting.

04

Supplier selection & procurement support

Requirements written so that vendors answer the same question, a scoring method agreed before proposals arrive, and a shortlist you can justify afterwards. We sit on your side of the table for demonstrations and reference calls, and flag the commercial terms worth asking your solicitor about.

05

Delivery assurance & second opinions

An independent read of a project already in flight, for the person who is being told everything is on track and would like that tested. We examine plan, scope, testing and acceptance criteria, and report to you — not to the delivery team — on what is real, what is optimistic, and what would need to change.

06

Resilience, access & IT risk review

A practical examination of what happens when something fails: whether backups restore, who holds administrative access, which supplier is a single point of failure, and how long the organisation could operate without each system. Advisory findings and priorities — we are not a certification body and issue no certificates.

03 — Ground

The ground a review covers

Technology problems are rarely where they are first reported. A review therefore reads the whole stack, top to bottom, before it concludes anything — and says which layer the symptom actually belongs to.

L1 Strategy & roadmap What the organisation is trying to do, and by when
L2 Applications & process The systems people actually use, and the work around them
L3 Data & reporting Where the record of truth lives and who is allowed to change it
L4 Integration & interfaces How systems exchange information, and what happens when one stops
L5 Infrastructure & hosting Where it runs, what it costs, and who can reach it
L6 Support, contracts & cost Renewal dates, licence counts, response commitments, exit terms

The bars mark position in the stack, from strategy down to contracts. They are a diagram, not a measurement — this site publishes no performance figures, because the company was incorporated in 2026 and has none to publish.

04 — Sequence

How an engagement runs

Five stages, agreed in writing before any of them begins. You will always know what is being produced, who is being spoken to, and what it costs.

1 Scoping call

Thirty minutes, at no charge

You describe the situation; we say plainly whether it is something we can help with, and whether an engagement is even warranted. If the honest answer is that you need a supplier rather than an adviser, we will say so at this stage rather than sell you a review.

Output — a straight answer, and a note of what we would look at

2 Proposal

Scope, questions, timetable and fee basis in writing

A short document setting out the questions the engagement will answer, what we will need access to, who we will need to speak with, the deliverables, the dates, and how the fee is calculated. Nothing starts until you have accepted it.

Output — written proposal and engagement terms

3 Review

Interviews, documents and a walk through the systems

We speak to the people who use the systems as well as the people who own them, read the contracts and the diagrams that exist, and look at the estate directly where you are willing to grant read-only access. We ask for the minimum access needed to answer the question, and no more.

Output — interview notes, evidence log, working findings

4 Report

Findings, options and a recommendation you can act on

A written report in language a non-technical board can read, with the reasoning visible so that you can disagree with a conclusion without discarding the whole document. Delivered with a read-out session for the people who need to ask questions.

Output — report, recommendation, sequenced actions, read-out session

5 Follow-up

A defined window for the questions that come later

Every engagement includes an agreed period afterwards in which you can come back with questions about the report at no additional charge. Where the work is then carried out by your own team or your own supplier, we are happy to review their plan against what we recommended.

Output — follow-up window, optional review of the resulting plan

05 — Record

What we can and cannot claim

This company was incorporated in February 2026. It therefore has a public record and a set of written commitments — and it has no measured track record. This site does not invent one.

Statements you will not find on this site

  • No client names, logos or case studies — we publish none without written permission, and we have not sought it
  • No testimonials, quotations or endorsements
  • No “projects delivered”, “years of experience” or headcount figures
  • No accreditations, partner badges or certifications we do not hold
  • No stock photography presented as our office, our team or our work

Every number below is a written commitment about how we will behave, not a measurement of past performance. We would rather a prospective client judged us on the filed record and on a thirty-minute conversation than on figures no one can check.

2

Business days — the maximum we allow ourselves to reply to any enquiry sent to support@ramkotech.pro

06 — Questions

Reasonable questions

The things a careful buyer asks a new consultancy, answered before they have to ask.

You were incorporated in 2026. Why should I engage a new practice?

Because of what the engagement costs you to test. A scoping call is free and a first engagement can be scoped small — a single question, a fixed fee, a defined document. Judge the work on the document. If it is not worth what it cost, do not commission the second one.

Do you implement what you recommend?

No. Implementation is carried out by your own team or by a supplier you choose. We will help you specify the work and, if you wish, review the plan and the result against what was recommended — but we do not tender for the build, and we do not introduce you to suppliers who pay us.

What access will you need to our systems?

As little as will answer the question, read-only wherever possible, granted through your own accounts and revoked at the end of the engagement. Where a document will do instead of an account, we ask for the document. Access arrangements are written into the proposal before anything begins.

Is this legal, financial or accredited security advice?

No. We give information technology advice. Where a matter touches contract law, tax, insurance or a formal certification scheme, we will tell you plainly that it needs a solicitor, an accountant or an accredited assessor, and we will help you frame the question for them.

How are fees calculated?

By the scope of the engagement, agreed in writing in advance — a fixed fee for a defined piece of work, or a day rate against an agreed number of days. Fees are never a percentage of what you go on to spend, and there is no charge for the scoping call or for the follow-up window.

Where do you work?

Throughout the United Kingdom. The registered office is at Croxley Green, Rickmansworth, and we attend in person across London and the Home Counties; interviews, workshops and read-outs are otherwise held remotely.

Next step

Describe the situation. We will tell you whether it needs us.

Write to us with what is happening and what decision it is blocking. You will have a reply within two business days, and the first thirty minutes of conversation costs nothing. If the answer is that you do not need a consultancy, that is the answer you will get.
